Bo - Registered TLBAA Miniature Texas Longhorn Steer

History: Bo was purchased as a bull calf in May 2022 and steered so as to be our bull’s pasture mate. We figured we might as well have a beautiful pasture ornament as a good bull buddy! Bo was purchased from Bogle Farms Miniature Zebus & Longhorns in Sorrento, FL. Bo is registered as a miniature Texas Longhorn and will come with his registration papers. At three years old, he already has such beautiful horns! (Reminder that steers grow the largest and longest horns over bulls & cows). Bo was halter broke to lead and tie, but we have not haltered him in over a year due to the situation of getting a halter around those huge horns! He is spunky, handsome, fun and loves to play. He comes to a bucket and easily rotates pastures following farm equipment – usually bucking and playing all the way. He prefers alfalfa cubes as treats over protein cubes, and not from the same hand that another cow already slobbered on or he will say “no thanks!” We also refer to him as “Babysitter Bo” or “Uncle Bo” as he has been great at taking care of calves on our farm. We see him grooming the little ones and it’s very sweet! We hope that Bo can be sold with one of his current pasture buddies, as he makes a great inexpensive and attractive addition and can be pastured with calves, bulls, or cows. Our Highlands will not go to a farm to be a lone bovine, so please consider this handsome guy if your budget does not allow for two Highlands at this time. Additional questions welcome! Edan Flur - SOLD

Edan Flur | Yellow Highland Heifer Calf | Birthdate 10/13/2024

History: Edan is a beautiful little heifer calf born on our farm. She was a textbook delivery and we were lucky enough to witness her birth (and watch the clock for on-time standing and nursing). With her mother being a mid-sized miniature in size and sire being even smaller at only 43” tall we anticipate a small stature for Edan as well. She has a curious and friendly personality! We expect Edan will make a perfect pet or would also be an excellent addition to any breeding program. Edan is a purebred Highland, but is not registered with AHCA. She is eligible to be registered with IMCBR. She will be ready to wean in April. Edan may be purchased WITH her mother prior to weaning (see Aile’s sale flyer for full details). Aile Ros - Red Highland Cow

History: BD 8/24/2020. AIle is a 4 year old cow. She successfully delivered her first calf in October 2024. Her delivery went perfectly and her heifer calf arrived with a textbook delivery. Aile is a beautiful representation of the breed. With her straight back and lovely conformation and color, she would be an excellent addition to any breeding program. Aile is a purebred Highland, but is not registered with AHCA. She is eligible to be registered with IMCBR. Aile was calved at Maynard’s Triple M farm in Tennessee (now relocated to Kentucky). We purchased her just before her first birthday. She received two weeks of halter training before purchase and continued that training on our farm. We tease that Aile is our “touch me not.” Although she does not love to be “petted” by hand her great love in life is to be BRUSHED. Instead of holding a bucket of treats, hold a brush in the air and she comes to that! She will drop her head and let you brush her forever. Aile has been used extensively on our photography set and now graces the walls of many homes’ family portraits. You can see a great number of Aile’s photos on our social media. She halters and ties well, but we have haltered her less as her horn length has increased and her job shifted to being a mother. Aile will absolutely need a bovine companion at her new home, and gets along with other females, steers, or pastures with a bull equally well. She will be a great addition to any home – as a pet, in a breeding program, or just as a beautiful pasture ornament.
