Raising & enjoying Scottish Highlander Cattle

In Scottish Gaelic, they are “Bò Ghàidhealach” in Scots, the “Hielan coo.”

Scottish Highlander cattle are the oldest registered breed in the world, with the first studbook established in 1885, although they have been kept for beef and dairy in Scotland since the 6th century AD.

Capture the moment…

…with genuine smiles. Need a new way to bring smiles into the shot? Try hugging a calf! Nothing will make you smile bigger than that. We book weekend sessions with professional photographers and can help you find an excellent one to meet your needs.

We are always looking to welcome new, animal loving photographers to our farm. Reach out to book an exciting session for your clients!

Capture a cow…

…or since they’re not found wandering on the US countryside, maybe just purchase your very own instead (seriously, don’t actually capture one). We might have one for sale, or can point you to a reputable breeder. Sadly, there are a good deal of scams out there. Be wary of social media posts and head to a good breeder instead. Scottish Highlanders are an investment, but a worthwhile one.
